BY JENNA SCOTT There's a monster under your bed. And he's writing a poem. Got a spooky, scary, skeleton story? How about a terrifying, transfixing tale? A paralyzing, petrifying piece of prose? A nasty narrative? An frightening feature? (I'll stop. I know this isn't very humerus.) If you do, we want you to share it with us! Submissions will open October 1st and run through October 28th on the KIVoice website. Just submit through our GHOSTories submissions page. Two submissions are allowed per person. If requested, the KIVoice team will offer feedback on at least one submission. Winner will be announced October 31st! How We Judge the Piece (We're all transparent here.)

Several students competed in Tuesday's lunchtime Kahoot each lunch period, competing against each other for candy prizes. Even more students participated in the open mic in various performances, from Kyle's take on Bach's Prelude in C to Hannah's poem, "Yearnings". Thursday was Neil Gaiman's Coraline, with a cupcake contest and a rather unexpected cliffhanger. (Will they ever get their sandwiches? You'll just have to read the book to find out.)
