Read me before submitting!
Novels are long. And sometimes, they take time. But you don't have to wait until your masterpiece is finished to share. Because of this, novels get their own special submissions page. Isn't it pretty?
Guidelines:
Special instructions for Novels:
*KIVoice will never alter the content of a piece of writing without the author's permission. However, to increase readability, proofreading edits may be made. If you disagree with any changes made, feel free to email us at [email protected].
Guidelines:
- Keep it PG13, folks. For a better idea of what that is, click here.
- Make sure everything is spelled correctly with correct punctuation.
- If you send in something with grammatical mistakes, we reserve the right to correct them before publication.*
- If your work includes spelling or punctuation errors for a stylistic voice, please include a note above your work to inform us of said choices.
- Our team of editors will read your work and determine whether or not it is ready for publication.
- If we do not accept a work for publication the first time, feel free to edit your work and send it in again for re-consideration.
Special instructions for Novels:
- Give us a blurb of your novel. This is a short paragraph of what it's about, but try not to say "This is what my novel is, pls read it." Try to get us hooked! We're posting this blurb on the website.
- Once we've received your blurb, share your submission over google drive with either [email protected] or [email protected], depending on where your novel is stored. We'll be looking out for it!
- Please separate your submission by chapter, creating a new google doc for each one. This makes it a lot easier for us to transfer the content over to the site. As you write more, continue to share with us, and we'll continue to post for you. Just shoot us an email when you finish a chapter! Nothing fancy, a quick two sentences will get the job done. I mean, we aren't asking you to write a novel.
